about the artist:
Noted for her colorful mixed media collage drawings, folk art illustrations and large Judaic community quilt designs, Rosefsky has had one woman shows at The Columbia Theological Seminary as well as at the Fine Family Art Gallery at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA). Most recently she participated as one of three artists in the MJCCA show "Releasing the Dove". The Genema Gallery show focuses on Rosefsky's collages which express the joy associated with many Jewish festivals and holidays, which often take their ritual sources from the Old Testament. Also on exhibit will be a new series of five pieces entitled "Life Chapters" which incorporate symbols, both Judaic and non-sectarian that highlight and document various aspects of the artist’s
life from the 1960s to the present.
Rosefsky works in her studio at the Sycamore Place Gallery & Studios in Decatur and may be contacted through her website: www.florageart.com.
